Shipping time

The delivery time for an order is divided into two parts: processing time and shipping time.

Processing time is typically up to 48 hours. Shipping times vary depending on the different shipping methods for each product category.

The shipping time depends on the shipping method you choose.

For the Default(CN) warehouse:

All products not marked with a warehouse option will be shipped from the default (CN) warehouse.

Most Akkogear.eu products are shipped from China. Akkogear.eu orders can be shipped to most EU countries (except islands and overseas territories).

Orders are processed in most countries within approximately 10-20 business days. Orders are not shipped or delivered on weekends or public holidays.

Due to high order volume, delivery may be delayed by a few days. Please allow a few days for delivery. If your order is significantly delayed, you will be notified by email.

For the overseas warehouse:

Products are preferably shipped from overseas warehouses. However, please note that we cannot guarantee that all orders will be shipped from our overseas warehouses (if our overseas warehouses are out of stock, we will ship from other warehouses, and the shipping time will be extended). Will you also support other models?

This is our very first keyboard for smartphones, so we greatly appreciate and urgently need your feedback. While we had planned to support other models (not just the iPhone), we are also exploring additional physical keyboard features that could be adapted for MetaKey to improve usability and productivity. This is our priority.

Does Akko MetaKey speed up typing?

Although we've optimized the key feel, typing is naturally a bit slower than on a virtual keyboard due to the time it takes for a key to move and register. However, the feedback and satisfaction it provides are unmatched. Aside from the larger display, Akko MetaKey is designed for users who enjoy working with a real keyboard and value the typing experience – those who appreciate the comfort, rhythm, and joy that come with each keystroke.

What material are the keycaps made of?

The keyboard features polycarbonate keycaps with laser-engraved lettering for a see-through effect.

How long does it take to get used to typing with physical keys?

There is a learning curve, but most users get used to MetaKey within about two days. Some users choose to use MetaKey exclusively for triggering a series of keyboard shortcuts.
