Shipping time
The delivery time for an order is divided into two parts: processing time and shipping time.
Processing time is typically up to 48 hours. Shipping times vary depending on the different shipping methods for each product category.
The shipping time depends on the shipping method you choose.
For the default warehouse:
Most Akkogear.de products are shipped from China. Akkogear.de orders can be shipped to most EU countries (except islands and overseas territories).
Orders are processed in most countries within approximately 10-20 business days. Orders are not shipped or delivered on weekends or public holidays.
Due to high order volume, delivery may be delayed by a few days. Please allow a few days for delivery. If your order is significantly delayed, you will be notified by email.
For the overseas warehouse:
Products are preferably shipped from overseas warehouses. However, please note that we cannot guarantee that all orders will be shipped from our overseas warehouses (if our overseas warehouses are out of stock, we will ship from other warehouses, and the shipping time will be extended). Please note the following details:
DE Local inventory
- 2~3 days DHL express delivery only applies to German customers.

6-7 days shipping for other Europe (Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Italy, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Poland, Lithuania, Romania, Slovakia, Croatia, Estonia, Portugal (18 of 20 regions), Denmark, Bulgaria, Spain (47 of 52 provinces), Greece, Hungary, Latvia, Sweden, Slovenia).
Note : DE Local Stock does not support delivery to the United Kingdom, Ireland, Malta, Cyprus, Switzerland and other countries we do not list.

Shipping information for Switch orders
Switches only:
- Orders with 1-3 boxes of switches will be shipped from our standard warehouse (delivery in 7-15 business days).
- Orders with 4 or more boxes of switches may be eligible for DE warehouse shipping, depending on availability.
Mixed orders (e.g. switches + keyboard):
Where possible, these will continue to be used primarily for shipping to the DE warehouse.
Shipping fee
We offer free shipping for orders over €99 to most European countries.
Note for special areas: Due to different international logistics costs, some remote areas or special countries may not be eligible for free shipping (even for orders over €99). The system will automatically calculate the shipping costs based on your delivery address, and the checkout page will clearly display the final costs. (You can contact our customer service to confirm the specific shipping rules or request an alternative.)
Policy for special countries and regions:
For Spain, we cannot deliver to the provinces of Balearic Islands, Las Palmas, and Santa Cruz de Tenerife. We cannot deliver to an island address in Europe.
For Indonesia, we require your Indonesian Tax ID (NPWP), your ID number (NIK - Nomor Induk Kependudukan), or your Indonesian driver's license, as required by customs. Please ensure the document holder's name matches the recipient's name in the shipping information.
For Switzerland , due to the local customs situation, we ask you to confirm via email that you agree to pay VAT to the local customs authorities before we ship your package. Since we cannot get the package back once we have shipped it, we cannot pay you any compensation for your order to Switzerland due to the VAT issue.
For Japan, please provide the information required for the order, such as name and address, in English.
For Korea, we require your personal customs code or date of birth, as required by Korean customs. Please include this in your order notes.
Note: Fill in your city and zip code at our checkout page, we can only ship if the system accepts your address, fill in where a place as shipping origin is okay if needed.
Can you declare the package as a gift?
No, unfortunately the courier service does not accept a gift declaration for customs clearance.
Including VAT or import sales tax?
Due to the customs policies of different countries, VAT will be charged at checkout, as required by the EU Commission to comply with e-commerce regulations. The price of our products does not include your country's VAT or import tax. However, we will do our best to provide a comparatively reasonable value for the product.
Akkogear.de provides the freight forwarder with the IOSS to expedite customs clearance and report VAT to the European Commission on a monthly basis. This way, we provide the necessary information for customs clearance in advance, so there should be no delays in customs clearance.
According to our previous experience, no import tax was charged in the following countries/regions: USA, Singapore, South Korea and other EU countries (except remote areas) such as Belgium, Bulgaria, Denmark, Germany, Estonia, Finland, France, Ireland, Italy, Croatia, Latvia, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Austria, Poland, Portugal, Sweden, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Czech Republic, Hungary.
US customers need not worry, as the US only imposes import tax on items over $800, which is far higher than the value of mechanical keyboards and parts.
In most other regions, customs is unlikely to impose import duties if you use standard shipping.
The following countries are likely to charge taxes and the associated shipping option:
Vietnam (please purchase via Akko VN);
Austria (with FedEx);
Indonesia (with FedEx);
Canada (with UPS);
Colombia (with UPS).

Shipping confirmation and order tracking
Please ensure the shipping information you provided is correct. Once your order has been shipped, you will receive a shipping confirmation email containing the tracking number(s). The tracking number will be active within 24 hours.
Damage
Akkogear.de is not responsible for products damaged or lost during shipping. If you receive your order damaged, please contact the shipping company to file a claim.
Please keep all packaging materials and damaged goods before submitting a claim.

Additional information on shipping
It is the customer's responsibility to ensure the successful delivery of the order. There are several situations in which a package may be returned to the shipping company's warehouse in the country of origin:
We will contact the customer as soon as we receive notification from the shipping company that your package has been held at customs for clearance purposes. If the customer does not provide the information requested by customs (e.g., payment of tax) within 48 hours, the package will be returned to the shipping company's origin warehouse. If the customer wishes to resend the package, you may be required to pay an additional fee (according to our shipping company's invoice). If you choose not to collect the package, you may be responsible for the return shipping costs (according to our shipping company's invoice). We will refund the purchase price less the return shipping costs (excluding the additional shipping costs you paid when placing the order).
We will contact the customer as soon as our shipping company informs us of an incorrect delivery address or phone number. However, if the customer does not respond to our request in a timely manner, the package will not be delivered. The customer may be held liable for the additional costs of redelivery.
If the customer receives the product and it is not a quality issue and wishes to return the product, they must submit the request within 7 days of the product/package arrival and bear the return shipping costs. Once the product arrives at our warehouse, we will refund the product cost via the original payment method.
Delivery information on courier websites (e.g., YANWEN) is deleted if it is shown as "delivered" for more than one month. The courier company will not compensate us for these orders, and we therefore cannot provide a refund if the customer does not notify us by email to inspect the package within one month of the "delivered" display on the courier company's website.
To avoid having to return goods to us, customers must provide their full name on the information form. If the name on the form is incomplete, the return shipping costs will be borne by the customer.
